About Me
My name is Yael, and I am a professional modern artist based in Riga. Art has been a part of my life since an early age, remaining an essential space for exploration, experimentation, and self-expression throughout my artistic journey.
My practice primarily focuses on acrylic painting, though I also work with watercolour, pastel, gouache, and ink. I received my art education under the guidance of Latvian artist and educator Lyudmila Kolominskaya, whose mentorship played an important role in my professional development.
I participate in art exhibitions and competitions in Latvia and internationally, presenting my work on an international stage, including in Asia. Alongside my own artistic practice, I teach at an art studio and continue to develop professionally by refining my techniques and expanding my knowledge of art.
